Welcome to the second class: Phases in facilitation!
Do you know which phases you will go through in a WBL teaching-learning process? There are three main phases involved in facilitation:
- Before the student starts the WBL process (this phase is preparatory and ends when the student starts his/her activity in the assigned company).
- Throughout the WBL process and afterwards (throughout the student’s stay in the assigned company).
- Once the student has completed the WBL process (starts once the student completes his/her stay in the assigned company).
Each phase requires performing a number of tasks. Completing each task successfully will be key to the smooth accompaniment of WBL participants.
To help you keep them in mind and remember what they are, you can easily access the following resource. The tasks to be carried out are set out for each role (academic and company facilitators) and for each phase of the process you are in (before, during and after). If you click on the different buttons, you will see a Checklist that will be very helpful to you.
Make sure you check all the TO-DOs!
